What you need to know about GESA KNUST

Welcome to GESA, KNUST
The Ghana Engineering Students’ Association (GESA), KNUST, is the unified body representing all engineering students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. GESA exists to serve, support, and advance the academic, professional, and social interests of its members while fostering excellence, leadership, and innovation within the College of Engineering.
As the central coordinating association, GESA provides a platform that brings together departments, faculties, clubs, societies, and project teams under a common vision of student development and collective progress. Through advocacy, structured engagement, academic support, professional exposure, and welfare initiatives, the association works to ensure that engineering students are well-represented, informed, and empowered throughout their academic journey.
GESA also serves as a bridge between students, college administration, industry partners, alumni, and external stakeholders, creating opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and practical learning beyond the classroom. Its activities are guided by the need to improve the student experience, promote responsible leadership, and prepare members to contribute meaningfully to national and global development.
This website serves as GESA’s official digital hub—designed to provide easy access to information, highlight ongoing initiatives, showcase the work of departments and clubs, and keep students connected to opportunities, events, and announcements within the College of Engineering. Welcome to a community driven by purpose, service, and engineering excellence.
